(I Do Not Blame You)

I Do Not Blame YouFor Bengbeng, My Cat(English)

I do not blame you.
When the wind blows, Your gaze Always drifts past the doorway, Falling toward the grass, Falling toward the distance.
That place, Has always belonged to your world.
I call you softly.
I know, You have heard me.
You only lower your head, Sniffing the wind, Sniffing the grass, Pretending as if nothing has happened.
Later, I stop chasing you.
I know, The more I chase, The further you will run.
I only stand not far away, Quietly watching.
Letting your freedom Remain within my sight.
What I worry about, Is never that you want to see the world.
What I worry about, Is only that this world, May not always be gentle.
So, I do not blame you.
And please, do not blame me.
Every time I call you home softly, It is not to keep you locked away.
I only hope that, Tomorrow morning, When I slide my feet into my slippers, You will still, as you always do, Nudge my feet gently, Then lift your head, And look at me in silence.
In that moment, I will know, You have come home.
