2019年春天，他離開了我們。歲月流轉，思念沒有遠去，他依然活在家人的心中。

父親的一生，走過並不平靜的歲月。童年與少年時代，他經歷過戰亂，也體會過家境清寒與世事的不平。那些經歷，在他年輕的心裡留下了一團「不平的火」。

作為中國第一代電力工作者，父親把一生奉獻給了祖國的電力建設。他曾參與並組織大型輸電工程，創立紡織廠的電力供應部門，並長年負責全廠設備管理。即使擔任管理工作，他仍常常親自爬上高高的電線桿，為年輕的技術員示範操作、傳授經驗，用實際行動告訴大家，什麼是責任，什麼是專業。

父親老了以後，依然喜歡伏案寫字。直到生命最後的日子，他沒有留下太多言語，卻讓我們看見了另一種安靜的堅強。

寫這首歌時，我常常想：如果能夠穿過歲月，我多想看看父親童年的模樣，聽聽他在溪水邊唱過的歌；也想看看那個心懷不平、迎風長大的少年。

This song is for my father.

He left us in the spring of 2019. The years have passed, but our memories of him have never faded. He still lives on in the hearts of our family.

My father lived through years that were far from peaceful. In his childhood and youth, he experienced the hardships of war, grew up in a family of modest means, and came to understand the injustices of the world. Those early years kindled a quiet fire within him—a deep sense of what was right and just.

As a young man, he climbed high utility poles against the wind, helping bring electricity and light into countless homes. In the years that followed, he devoted himself to his work and his family. To me, “light” was more than part of his profession; it became a symbol of the warmth and goodness he left with us.

Even in his later years, my father still loved to sit at his desk and write. Near the end of his life, he spoke little, yet in his quietness he showed us another kind of strength.

While writing this song, I often found myself wishing I could travel back through time—to see my father as a child, to hear the songs he once sang beside the stream, and to meet the young man who carried that quiet fire in his heart and grew up facing the winds of his time.

Now my father has gone on ahead. The mountains and rivers of his homeland remain, the wind still blows, and the lights he once helped kindle are still shining in this world.
