My mother was an endless sea
Holding every dream inside of me
Moonlight danced upon the quiet tide
As love became my place to hide
Every night you showed me all the stars
Wrapped the wind around my restless heart
I was never afraid to chase the sky
With you beside me, hope was always bright
The stars still shine
Yet the night feels deeper now
I hear your voice
Whisper through the wind somehow
You come so near
Then softly fade from sight
Leaving in the endless sky
The brightest star
Now I’ve crossed a thousand roads alone
Through every season life has shown
Whenever I look into the night
Your gentle light still fills my eyes
The stars still shine

《天邊的星星》改編自我幾年前寫下的一首詩。
多年以來，它一直安靜地留在我的文字裡，直到今天，我才將它重新譜寫成一首歌曲。
這首歌，寫給我的母親。
她雖然已經離開，但每當夜晚仰望星空，我總會想起她。彷彿天邊總有一顆最亮的星，靜靜守望著我，陪伴我走過人生的每一段旅程。
我相信，真正的愛不會因離別而消失。它會像星光一樣，跨越歲月，穿越黑夜，在最需要的時候，依然照亮我們的心。
願這首《天邊的星星》，也陪伴每一位思念親人的朋友。願我們都能珍惜眼前的愛，也帶著這份思念與盼望，勇敢走向未來。
Author’s Note(English)
The Brightest Star is adapted from a poem I wrote several years ago.
For years, it remained quietly among my writings until I finally gave it a new life through music.
This song is dedicated to my mother.
Although she is no longer with us, whenever I look up at the night sky, I cannot help thinking of her. It always seems as though the brightest star is watching over me, quietly accompanying me through every season of life.
I believe that true love does not disappear with parting. Like starlight, it reaches across time, shines through the darkest nights, and continues to illuminate our hearts when we need it most.
May The Brightest Star bring comfort to everyone who carries the memory of a loved one. May it remind us to cherish those we love today, and to walk forward with hope, gratitude, and the enduring light of love.
